About Martin County Criminal History

Martin County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff’s Records Unit, the Circuit and County Courts in Stuart, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Florida Department of Corrections, and the Florida Sexual Offender and Predator Registry. Each source answers a different question. This private guide organizes the official portals, addresses, request routes, and phone numbers so readers can start with the office that actually maintains the record they need.

Why We Built This Site

Florida provides several public access routes, but no one system contains the whole story. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office holds its incident, arrest, booking, and jail material. The Martin County Clerk maintains local criminal dockets, filings, judgments, and certified dispositions. FDLE’s Division of Criminal Justice Information Services operates the statewide criminal-history repository, while the Florida Department of Corrections and the Florida Sexual Offender and Predator Registry cover separate state systems. This site brings those official routes and their practical request details together.

What You Will Find Here

  • Agency contacts: how to reach MCSO Records, the Clerk’s Criminal Division, and Florida’s statewide systems
  • Record guides: how criminal court case records are found and read in Martin County
  • Record relief guidance: the Florida sealing and expungement route and where a Martin County petition is filed
  • Official check explanations: the differences among FDLE name searches, certified searches, Livescan checks, and personal review

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, with no affiliation to a Florida court, law-enforcement agency, or state office. Its role has clear limits:

  • We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
  • We cannot file an expungement petition, public-records request, or other paperwork for a visitor
  • We cannot run an official background check or retrieve a person’s criminal record
  • We cannot promise that an agency’s address, fee, hours, or procedure has not changed

An official copy must come from the office that maintains it, such as MCSO, the Martin County Clerk, or FDLE. This site can identify the route but cannot issue the document.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. They operate their own services, choose their prices, and control their results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports the site’s operation. We do not set the provider’s charges or determine which records its results display.
