Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit to Martin County Criminal History, including reading a guide or using a search tool. Continued access means the visitor accepts all terms below. The site provides directions to Martin County and Florida criminal-record resources. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site that operates independently of government. It does not store official criminal records and cannot retrieve records, conduct official checks, or submit documents for a visitor.

Its purpose is to identify the offices holding Martin County records, including MCSO, the Martin County courts, FDLE’s Division of Criminal Justice Information Services, and the Florida Sexual Offender and Predator Registry, while also linking to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, a visitor agrees not to:

  • Use site information to threaten, stalk, or harass a person
  • Use automated scraping, bot, or collection tools against the pages
  • Violate a federal, Florida, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Florida law gives special weight to registry misuse: section 775.21(10)(d), Florida Statutes, penalizes specified alteration, falsification, or misuse of public Florida Sexual Offender and Predator Registry information. Registry access supports public awareness, not vigilantism, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create background checks, credit reports, or other consumer reports. Its advertising partners likewise do not provide tools intended to evaluate applicants, renters, insurance risk, or creditworthiness. Site or linked-tool information may not be used to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check needed for a regulated purpose must be obtained through an authorized FDLE process or an FCRA-compliant screening provider.

5. No Legal Advice

The content is not legal advice. General explanations of Martin County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, sealing rule, or expungement rule applies to a particular matter. That requires a licensed Florida attorney.

6. No Warranties

All site content is provided "as is." No guarantee is made that:

8. Intellectual Property

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be changed only to the extent needed for enforceability.
