NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no affiliation with a local, Florida, or federal government body. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other screening regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The site provides directions to Martin County and Florida criminal-record resources. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.
1. What This Website Is
This is a private reference site that operates independently of government. It does not store official criminal records and cannot retrieve records, conduct official checks, or submit documents for a visitor.
Its purpose is to identify the offices holding Martin County records, including MCSO, the Martin County courts, FDLE’s Division of Criminal Justice Information Services, and the Florida Sexual Offender and Predator Registry, while also linking to outside research tools.
2. Rules for Using This Site
By using the site, a visitor agrees not to:
- Use site information to threaten, stalk, or harass a person
- Use automated scraping, bot, or collection tools against the pages
- Violate a federal, Florida, or local law
- Make a hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decision from site content
- Interfere with performance or prevent another visitor’s access
- Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
No one may use this site or a linked tool to stalk, intimidate, threaten, harass, or discriminate against another person. Florida law gives special weight to registry misuse: section 775.21(10)(d), Florida Statutes, penalizes specified alteration, falsification, or misuse of public Florida Sexual Offender and Predator Registry information. Registry access supports public awareness, not vigilantism, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create background checks, credit reports, or other consumer reports. Its advertising partners likewise do not provide tools intended to evaluate applicants, renters, insurance risk, or creditworthiness. Site or linked-tool information may not be used to:
- Decide whether to hire or fire someone
- Screen potential renters or housing applicants
- Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
- Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
- Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules
A check needed for a regulated purpose must be obtained through an authorized FDLE process or an FCRA-compliant screening provider.
5. No Legal Advice
The content is not legal advice. General explanations of Martin County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, sealing rule, or expungement rule applies to a particular matter. That requires a licensed Florida attorney.
6. No Warranties
All site content is provided "as is." No guarantee is made that:
- The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
- The site will stay up and running without interruptions
- Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
- Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate
Charges may be filed, dismissed, sealed, or expunged, so criminal-record information changes over time. Gaps can occur. Nothing here is an official statement of MCSO, the Martin County courts, FDLE, or any other government body.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
Links lead to sheriff and court portals, Florida agencies, legal resources, and outside search services. Those destinations are beyond this site’s control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or data practices, and visitors should read the destination’s terms.
8. Intellectual Property
Martin County Criminal History or its content partners own the site’s text, graphics, logos, and code. Written permission is required before copying, distributing, modifying, or creating derivative material from that content.
9. Limits on Our Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from site use, including reliance on information found here or through a linked service.
10. Indemnification
A visitor agrees to hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by that visitor’s site use or violation of these terms, including associated legal fees and costs.
11. Governing Law
Florida law governs these terms. Any dispute related to site use must be brought in a court located in Florida. Government record access remains subject to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, judicial records to Florida Rule of General Practice and Judicial Administration 2.420, and FDLE dissemination to section 943.053, Florida Statutes.
12. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be revised at any time. A revision takes effect when the new version is posted here.
13. Cutting Off Access
Access may be restricted or ended at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.
14. Severability
If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be changed only to the extent needed for enforceability.
15. Questions
Questions about these conditions may be submitted through the Contact page.
